Just as anxious as I was to embark on this journey, I was just as ready to get home. For a few moments I envied the group who were traveling on to Kilkenny but quickly realized my personal Ireland adventure was completed. The memories of things I saw, places I visited, courtesies I experienced and people I got to know will grow in my heart as I reflect on the advantages of visiting places that expand one's horizons. From the Dublin airport, my return trip was rerouted through the Heathrow airport in London since the Chicago flight was delayed. I was excited for that opportunity to see English since I had never been there but the thrill was limited to seeing the very large expanse of London out the airplane window. This flight took me directly to San Francisco which enabled me to catch my original flight back to Honolulu. Although I was too exhausted to say much, I was relieved to see Conrad and go home and sleep - which I did for a day and a half!
